Terms
Each member is elected to serve a three-year term. After three years, the committee member may step down for one year and then be re-elected for an additional three-year term.

Meeting attendance policy
Selection Committee meetings are held quarterly.  Attendance at Selection Committee meetings is required.  Committee members may miss one out of the four meetings per year.  Attendance at the annual voting meeting in early September is mandatory.

Concert attendance policy
Selection Committee members must see 20 concerts per year, making sure they are incorporating diverse dance styles as well as the traditional styles.  Every effort will be made to obtain at least one complimentary ticket per member for each performance.
